This was the first time I ever covered a wedding vow renewal, and to make things even more unpredictable, it was Donnie’s surprise to his wife, Matoy! She had no clue that she was about to get married to him the second time around amongst their closest friends in the gorgeous Balay Indang in Cavite.

And here come the guests! First, they enter the venue where the ceremony is to be held, just minutes before the couple arrives:

And finally, the moment everyone was waiting for: the couple arrive and witness Matoy’s reaction! She was absolutely stunned yet delighted at the sight before her!

After the ceremony and a quick pictorial, it was time for the grub! Balay Indang serves up some really delicious home-cooked meals that really hits the spot. Their baby back ribs and mushroom soup are a must-try! I could barely take any photos of the food (I was only able to capture three dishes), because once served on the table, it vanished in just seconds!

It was so touching to see Donnie and Matoy’s love for each other going strong after 20 years of marriage and three children as well as how loved they are by their friends. I’m so glad to have been able to experience it all Here’s to many, many more happy years together, Donnie and Matoy!

The photo adventure continues! I have been taking photos of Luis since he was in his mommy’s belly and after his arrival, his photo sessions began at 10 days old (I have yet to upload these! But you can find photos from his first month here).

The following photos were shot from the time he was two to five months old.

A whole lot of hard work and help from some friends are what made up Stella’s garden party. Stella’s mom, Tootsie, used her own creative skills to put everything together and the result was a beautiful, sweet party that delighted all the guests. I’m so blessed to have been chosen to document this event
